Booking, attendance and refund information for your lessons.
Booking your lessons
Lessons are private, online and 50 minutes long. New lessons must be booked at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Please check the time zone shown when booking.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule a booked lesson online at least 12 hours before its scheduled start time. An eligible cancellation returns the lesson credit for rebooking; it does not automatically issue a money refund. Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice and missed lessons count as used and are not eligible for a replacement lesson or refund, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Late arrivals
Please join on time. If you arrive late, the lesson still finishes at its original scheduled end time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson is forfeited and counts as used, subject to applicable consumer rights.
Expert package refunds
To request cancellation of an Expert package, contact William. For a change-of-mind cancellation after lessons have started, completed lessons and lessons counted as used under the attendance rules are recalculated at the £19.99 single Expert lesson rate. The refund is the amount paid for the package minus that recalculated total, with a minimum refund of £0. You will not be asked to pay extra if the recalculated total exceeds the package payment. Example: £159.90 paid for ten lessons, with five lessons used: £159.90 − (5 × £19.99) = £59.95. This calculation does not override statutory cancellation or refund rights, or apply where a different refund is required because tuition has not been provided as agreed.
Expert Plus package refunds
To request cancellation of an Expert Plus package, contact William. Unused eligible lessons are refunded at the package lesson rate, with no processing-fee deduction or package-discount adjustment. William absorbs the payment processing costs. Example: £199.90 paid for ten lessons, with five lessons used: five unused lessons × £19.99 = £99.95 refunded. Lessons counted as used under the attendance rules are not unused lessons.
Refund requests and remaining credits
Please email william@william-bennett.com with the package and lessons concerned. Refunds are reviewed and processed manually. Refunded lessons cannot also be used for future bookings; the corresponding remaining credits and future bookings will be adjusted as part of the refund process.
If William cancels
A lesson cancelled by William does not count as a student cancellation or missed lesson. The affected lesson can be rearranged, and any applicable refund rights remain available.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights, including any applicable cooling-off rights or remedies where services are not provided as agreed. Those rights take priority over these package and attendance rules.
